Self-Scheduling

Our Self-Schedule tool allows you complete control over the worker scheduling process, but without any effort on your part! You can set the Self-Schedule to only appear for certain groups of volunteers you create, or workers that have worked with your event or another event before and received good reviews. You can choose to manually approve Self-Schedule attempts and adjust schedules as needed, or you can let the Self-Schedule tool do all the work and auto-approve mode.

Work Performance – WPL

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="2/3"][vc_column_text]The WPL or Work Performance Level, is a truly unique function of the festiVOL software.  The ability for workers to earn credit for good performance, at each and every event they work, creates a community and a value that motivates good work ethic suivez ici.  Workers know that every work shift is graded, and every shift is a potential step up the ladder. For your event, you get access to the WPL and department worked for all workers that have completed a shift at any event using the festiVOL management system.  This means that your workers come with event work history - you know what departments they have excelled in, and how experienced they are as a whole.  For next year's event, you will know all of your past workers, how well they performed, and what departments you want to place them in.  The more you use the festiVOL management system, the more value you get out of your own data, as well as industry-wide data collected.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][button title="SCHEDULE A DEMO" color="orange" align="aligncenter" url="/contact/?subj=Schedule" width="full" el_class="big-text"][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][divider_line][/vc_column][/vc_row]

View Schedule & Important Info

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="2/3"][vc_column_text]Well informed workers have no reason to directly contact your volunteer/staff coordinator.  This ensures your coordinator is not drowned by one-on-one communications with workers, as all important items can be accessed from the worker's event home page.  Workers have ALL the resources they need at their fingertips. You will be able to enter in your own work liability to the site, so there is no need for anymore paperwork. Digitally signed waivers ensure that your event is protected, and as the information is stored on the cloud, you never have to worry about printing or filing papers. You can post worker's Categories to their event home page.  Perhaps you have a special team you are assigning to a certain shift, and you want to make sure they know they have been chosen.  You can display their Special Category right on their home page. The Work With Friends feature is also found here - workers can connect their account with friends' to ensure they are scheduled together (our robust scheduling tool makes sure of that!). The Self-Schedule tool can be placed on the event home pages of workers you select, or to all workers.  Once they Self-Schedule, or are Manually Scheduled, they can view their schedule right on their own home page. Canceling is also done right from the home page - we do not accept email cancels, and it's as easy as clicking on cancel for the worker.  Canceling removes them from any shifts and applies any cancellation fees, if applicable.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][button title="SCHEDULE A DEMO" color="orange" align="aligncenter" url="/contact/?subj=Schedule" width="full" el_class="big-text"][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][divider_line][/vc_column][/vc_row]

View Application & Ticket Status

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="2/3"][vc_column_text]Workers can easily view their application and Reimbursable Ticket statuses right from their own event home page.  The easy two-step process enables the event to collect all necessary information needed for scheduling, and includes an event terms agreement page and a liability waiver e-sign page. If the event is using the Pro License and has Reimbursable Tickets turned on, Step 2 displays and workers can see what their ticket status is, whether they have successfully purchased, have cancelled and/or been refunded, or perhaps even forfeited reimbursement if the worker did not complete their work obligation. The fact that workers are able to view all important data regarding their positions keeps them well-informed and confident in the work program, while keeping the one-on-one email communications to a minimum.  No worker is ever "left in the dark".[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][button title="SCHEDULE A DEMO" type="linkbutton" color="orange" url="/contact/?subj=Schedule" target="_self" align="aligncenter" width="full" el_class="big-text"][divider_line type="divider_line"][vc_column_text][featlist][/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][divider_line type="divider_line"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Sign and View work Liability Waiver

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="2/3"][vc_column_text]You input your event liability waiver, and your workers electronically sign it.  This is a legally binding and extremely stress free way to deal with collecting waiver signatures from all of your workers.  As the data lives on the cloud, there is no need to print or file any paperwork anymore, and your event is covered.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][button title="SCHEDULE A DEMO" color="orange" align="aligncenter" url="/contact/?subj=Schedule" width="full" el_class="big-text"][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][divider_line][/vc_column][/vc_row]

View Work Obligation Complete

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="2/3"][vc_column_text]Allowing workers to see when their Work Obligation has been completed takes the guess-work out of the process for them.  This builds their confidence in the program, and ensure that a worker takes responsibility for being clocked in and out of all shifts, as they will always have the ability to check their account to ensure they have met their work obligation. This is important, as the main goal of an event work program is to have all workers work their assigned shifts![/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][button title="SCHEDULE A DEMO" color="orange" align="aligncenter" url="/contact/?subj=Schedule" width="full" el_class="big-text"][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][divider_line][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Social – Promote Work Opportunities Through Facebook

[vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]Workers are able to connect with Facebook when they log into their account. Through Facebook, they can link their account to their friends' accounts, so that they are scheduled together during the scheduling process.  As this is all done through a tool on festiVOL that creates Facebook messages, workers can urge their friends to sign up, and in turn promote your event.  This is fantastic as it happens completely organically, with no urging from your event! Plus, as your festiVOL page is skinned to your event, workers can access your event's Facebook and twitter pages, giving you more likes and keeping them up to date on your posts and messaging.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][button title="SCHEDULE A DEMO" color="orange" align="aligncenter" url="/contact/?subj=Schedule" width="full" el_class="big-text"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][divider_line][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Easy 1-2-3 Steps to Confirming Position

With the clean and fresh festiVOL front end worker dashboard, your event workers always know what steps they must take to confirm their work position. When you create your event, you will decide how many steps and what those steps will be - they will display for your worker in their own event home page. Whether you decide to charge order processing/t-shirt fees, or allow all applicants to apply fee-free, or whether you decide to charge a ticket deposit...these choices will reflect in the worker event home page dashboard. Only workers that have completed all steps will show in the scheduler. The festiVOL system also arranges for canceled workers as well. As all workers must cancel through the cancel portal in their own event home page dashboard - festiVOL will remove them from their shifts and re-populate the shifts in the scheduler to be filled by new applicants.

Link With Friends to Work Together

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="2/3"][vc_column_text]Keeping your workers happy and motivated helps to maintain a productive workforce that promotes positivity and good vibes at your event.  Your workers are representing your brand and should do so with a smile on their face.  Our Work With Friends feature links workers through their Facebook accounts so that friends will always have the same work schedule.  That means traveling together, showing up to work together, having the same off time to enjoy the event, and even working in the same department when possible.  Your event coordinator will never have to answer emails and switch around schedules to match requests, as linking with friends is under the worker's control![/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][button title="SCHEDULE A DEMO" color="orange" align="aligncenter" url="/contact/?subj=Schedule" width="full" el_class="big-text"][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][divider_line][/vc_column][/vc_row]
