Job Description

Our client, a leader in the distribution industry, is seeking a General Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a General Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the efficient flow of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Warehouse Associate

Location: Mount Vernon, IL

Pay Range:

Shift: 9:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

What's the Job?

• Receive, scan, pick, pack, audit, and ship merchandise to customers.
• Track all inbound and outbound items through radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure accountability in inventory.
• Verify orders and ensure accurate entry into the inventory management system.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all areas of the warehouse are well maintained and free of debris.
• Uphold quality standards set forth by warehouse management.

What's Needed?

• Willingness to work a flexible shift.
• Able to stand for at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Capability to perform tasks that include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Preferred: High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
