Job Description

A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Denver, Colorado, serving middle school students in resource class settings. This contract position focuses primarily on delivering push-in support with some pull-out sessions, maintaining a manageable caseload of no more than 25 students, allowing for effective individualized attention and support.

Key qualifications include:

• An active Special Education teaching license valid in Colorado
• Experience working within K-12 educational environments, particularly middle school levels
• Ability to implement instructional strategies in resource settings for students with diverse learning needs
• Comfort and skill in both push-in and pull-out teaching models

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive classroom experiences
• Provide tailored instruction that meets the individualized education program (IEP) goals of each student
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
• Maintain records and communicate student development with families and school personnel
