Overall Purpose: Oversees and optimizes the logistics and supply chain vendor management process to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant transportation and distribution services. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Vendor Relationship Management and Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain strategic and tactical relationships with logistics vendors, monitor their performance against established targets, and implement corrective actions as needed. Process Improvement and Implementation: Define, design, and implement logistics processes and strategies, leading initiatives to improve efficiency and support key strategic goals. Contract Negotiation and Compliance: Lead contract negotiations with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and provide financial analysis support. Project Leadership and Collaboration: Lead multiple logistics projects, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and act as a Subject Matter Expert for supply chain initiatives and product launches. Reporting, Analysis, and Problem Resolution: Conduct sophisticated financial and operational analysis, prepare reports, resolve complex problems, and support the development of goals and budgets. Job Contribution: Oversees the daily operations of their team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role focuses on immediate team management, task delegation, and the resolution of day-to-day issues. Typically leads occupational staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action and promotional activity for subordinates. Supervisor: Yes Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 3+ years of related experience. Our Manager Logistics earn between $87,200 - $130,800 USD Annual.
