A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Fully Remote Benefit Customer Service Representative in Buffalo, NY! (Must reside in or near!)
You’ll have the rewarding opportunity to assist our client plan participants through the enrollment process and updates to their health care and/or pension plans. You will provide exceptional service in a remote environment (following onboarding and training), ensuring each contact is handled with care, professionalism, and a personal touch.
Customer Service Representative Compensation
· The pay for this position is $16.50/hr and goes to $18/hr after 30 days
· Benefits are available to full-ti.me employees after 90 days of employment
· A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Customer Service Representative Highlights
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities
· Build rapport and provide compassionate, accurate, and timely service via phone, email, and instant message.
· Customize your communication style to meet the needs of a diverse customer base.
· Handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA, data privacy, and security standards.
· Translate complex benefit plan information into clear, easy-to-understand instructions.
· Access plan documents and knowledge bases to resolve issues and anticipate future needs.
· Document calls and cases with precision and professionalism.
· Participate in training and team meetings.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Customer Service Representative Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED
· Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills
· Ability to type 30+ WPM
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multitasking across multiple programs
· Comfortable working independently in a virtual setting
· Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately
· Strong time management and organizational skills
Customer Service Representative Preferred:
· Associate or Bachelor’s degree
· Experience with health and welfare or defined benefit pension plans
· Call center/customer service experience
· Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
