Insight Global is looking for a PEP Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This person will eventually be working onsite 3-4 times a week. We are looking for a skilled L2 AML Analyst to join the PEP team. The analyst will play a critical role in identifying potential PEP matches among our customers and ensuring appropriate escalation for Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).s.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze PEP alerts escalated from L1 analysts.
• Determine whether the alert pertains to an existing TD customer.
• Assess whether the customer is a confirmed PEP.
• Escalate confirmed PEP matches for EDD to the appropriate line of business.
• Work through a backlog of approximately 2,900 PEP alerts, followed by ongoing current alerts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal AML procedures and regulatory requirements.

Must Haves:

• 1+ years of experience in AML compliance or financial crime investigations.
• Familiarity with PEP identification and regulatory expectations.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage high volumes of alerts efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation:

$26/hr to $28/hr.
